A children’s science gallery connects personal discovery with the wider world, moving from the body and home to the city, nature and universe.

THE CHALLENGE

Make a broad world of science legible to children through a journey that begins with familiar experience.

Start with the child, then widen the frame: self, home, city, nature and universe.

Each chapter builds on the last, allowing personal discovery to become a way into larger scientific relationships.

The preliminary design turns the five-part narrative into a sequence of environments scaled around curiosity, movement and participation.

GOMI’s documented contribution is preliminary exhibition design. The images are design visualizations, not completion photography.
